Director, Business Manager – Global Quantitative Analytics

Location: New York, New York, United States; full-time onsite role

Base salary: $175,000–$250,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Serve as chief of staff to the Head of Global Quantitative Analytics, managing priorities, initiatives, and execution across quantitative, technology, and research functions.
• Own business reviews, planning cycles, internal governance, leadership materials, and senior stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with COO, Finance, Technology, Human Capital, Legal, and Compliance functions.
• Partner on headcount planning, budgeting, compensation cycles, vendor relationships, data subscriptions, and operating contracts.
• Build operational reporting covering headcount, project status, and platform milestones.
• Drive adoption of AI tools and workflow improvements while translating business needs into product requirements.

Requirements

• 3–12 years of experience in business management, COO, chief of staff, or operations roles.
• Experience in asset management, investment banking, or a quantitative or technology-intensive financial services environment.
• Ability to manage complex cross-functional workstreams end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex material for senior investment professionals.
• Strong organization, operational judgment, prioritization, discretion, and process-building skills.
• At Director level, experience partnering with MD- or Partner-level leaders and independently owning headcount planning, budgets, and vendor relationships.
