What you will do
- Develop and maintain the global trade compliance framework.
- Oversee compliant import and export processes, including classification, valuation, origin, licensing, and sanctions screening.
- Manage customs broker relationships and lead audits, risk assessments, regulatory disclosures, and corrective actions.
- Embed compliance controls into systems and improve processes through automation.
- Deliver compliance training and stakeholder engagement across Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Sales.
- Lead and develop regional compliance teams and manage external partners.
Requirements
- Extensive recent international experience with import and export regulations, customs authorities, customs brokers, and clearance procedures.
- Experience with export licenses, ITAR, and EAR.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Professional qualifications in import/export or international trade compliance.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) programmes.
