Resident Advisor Substitute

Location: Dayton, Ohio, USA

Part-time position supporting residential Job Corps participants.

What you will do

• Monitor dormitories and maintain a safe, supportive, and predictable residential environment.
• Meet with assigned students at least every two weeks and track progress toward performance-contract goals.
• Manage student incidents and coordinate services with other staff.
• Conduct dormitory inspections, complete rounds, and maintain dormitory logs.
• Document meetings, services, incidents, student data, and accountability reports accurately and on time.
• Participate in events and model professional behavior and employment skills for students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework in Human Services is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience working with young people aged 16–24.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong relationship-building, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with computers, case management tools, and office software.
• Valid state category 4 driver's license, good driving record, and Puerto Rico Law 300 certification.
