Managing Consultant (Regulatory Compliance)

Location: Hong Kong

What you will do

• Lead and deliver regulatory projects and ongoing compliance support engagements.
• Manage a client portfolio, provide regulatory advice, and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Monitor and maintain client compliance programmes, manage regulatory registrations, and prepare policies and procedures.
• Analyse regulatory changes, assess their impact, and support clients during regulatory examinations.
• Manage multi-stream projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, client communication, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with global colleagues and contribute to training, briefings, proposals, and industry events.

Requirements

• Strong compliance experience in financial services, consultancy, legal practice, or a regulatory environment.
• Solid understanding of SFC processes and asset-management regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse regulations, manage compliance risks, and develop practical policies and procedures.
• Experience translating regulatory rules into clear, pragmatic client solutions.
• Strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Degree-level education preferred, with a relevant investment or compliance diploma, or willingness to study.
