Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant (Data Analytics)

Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid working model with work from home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices for most of the week

What you will do

• Apply problem-solving frameworks to develop solutions for client business challenges.
• Structure and conduct market and desk research to derive insights and support client decision-making.
• Design custom analyses using Excel, Access, Confirmit, and proprietary hirify.global software.
• Synthesize and communicate findings through written and oral presentations for clients and internal teams.
• Build client relationships, support project planning, provide status updates, and help mitigate risks and issues.
• Mentor Associates and contribute to improving team problem-solving capabilities.

Requirements

• PhD or master's degree with a bachelor's degree in a quantitatively oriented field such as business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences.
• Alternatively, 2–5 years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of an MBA or PhD.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, self-discipline, and a quality-focused mindset.
• Motivation, initiative, maturity, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to lead teams.
• Candidates must possess or be able to obtain work authorization for China.
• Travel is required as needed for client-facing projects.
