VN Clinical Instructor Part-time Evenings Weekends

Location: Sacramento, California, USA; campus-based role with visits to clinical sites. Evening and weekend clinical rotations may take place at various locations.

Salary: $48.00–$55.00 per hour

What you will do

• Teach vocational nursing lecture content and supervise clinical rotations on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Improve instructional quality by applying varied and innovative teaching methods.
• Use online learning activities to enhance course content and interactive instruction.
• Review and revise course syllabi and instructional guidelines.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-off forms, clinical files, and program data.
• Submit reports, participate in professional development and committees, and stay current with technologies, safety regulations, and licensure requirements.

Requirements

• Current RN or LVN licensure in the state where teaching takes place.
• RN/BSN candidates: at least 3 years of bedside experience.
• LVN/Associate degree candidates: at least 6 years of bedside experience.
• Ability to teach and provide clinical support at different times and locations, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support or ACLS certification.
