EPC Project Manager (Utility-Scale Solar)

Location: Full-time on a jobsite in the U.S. West Region; extensive travel of at least 50% and lengthy assignments in remote or rural areas are required.

Salary: $110,448–$138,060 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and manage all aspects of utility-scale solar EPC projects, including budgets, schedules, procurement, buyout, reporting, and closeout.
• Lead field execution with superintendent teams, including large labor crews, work sequencing, productivity targets, labor spending, and production forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material suppliers, contract labor providers, owners, architects, and project partners.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, subcontract packages, billings, claims, and contract terms.
• Manage project risk, safety, quality control, documentation, warranty follow-up, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Lead project meetings and develop, train, and mentor the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture preferred.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction methods, sequencing, techniques, and utility and ISO interconnection processes.
• Experience with project scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, contract law, and project accounting.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and industry tools such as Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
