Robotics Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year, plus potential equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and detailed product requirements for one or more robotic systems.
• Create and maintain PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative customer research with engineering to define requirements and prioritize solutions.
• Manage releases end to end, including prioritization, validation, launch readiness, and post-launch iteration.
• Define, onboard, and roll out external pilots while acting as the primary customer interface during early deployments.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, culinary, manufacturing, and commercial teams; analyze KPIs and communicate product insights to executives, investors, customers, and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, including experience in robotics, automation, industrial hardware/software systems, or similar domains.
• Experience turning ambiguous customer problems into shipped products with measurable impact.
• Strong analytical skills covering telemetry, operational metrics, financial data, KPIs, dashboards, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Systems-thinking ability across mechanics, electronics, firmware, cloud services, and UX.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with food-service equipment, NSF/UL compliance, or safety-critical electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, or advanced perception systems for autonomous robotics.
• Understanding of design for manufacturing, regulatory approvals, and connected edge-IoT ecosystems.
• Experience with financial modeling, business cases, ROI, and pricing strategy.
• MBA or equivalent business experience.
