Commissioning Instrumentation Supervisor (Oil & Gas)

Location: Offshore, Doha Municipality, Qatar; place of work: Dubai. Offshore work follows a 56/28 rotation schedule.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate instrumentation commissioning activities on the offshore facility.
• Plan, organize, and monitor commissioning work against project schedules and procedures.
• Supervise loop checks, functional tests, calibration, and start-up of instrumentation and control systems.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process commissioning teams during integration and handover.
• Review commissioning procedures, punch lists, and MC/RFC completion packages.
• Report progress and technical issues while supporting troubleshooting during commissioning and start-up.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Automation, or Control Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of instrumentation commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Significant offshore commissioning experience and knowledge of EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control loops, DCS, ESD, F&G systems, and MC/RFC documentation.
• Team supervision and coordination experience within multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Valid BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety certification, medical fitness for offshore work, and fluent written and spoken English are required.

Nice to have

• Previous Saipem or similar EPC project experience.
• Arabic language skills.
