Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer - Greenfield (Offshore Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead Instrumentation and Control engineering activities across FEED, EPC, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
• Plan, coordinate, and review instrumentation, control, automation, telecom, and safety system deliverables.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Telecom, and HSE disciplines.
• Lead engineering for DCS, ESD, FGS, PLC, SCADA, and ICSS systems, including system interfaces and architecture reviews.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, constructability, and design reviews.
• Support procurement, vendor evaluations, FAT activities, offshore installation, loop checks, commissioning, and start-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 15 years of Instrumentation and Control engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a Lead Instrument and Control Engineer role.
• Strong experience with ADNOC Offshore projects and extensive FEED and EPC experience in offshore oil and gas.
• Experience with greenfield offshore developments, wellhead platforms, gathering stations, central processing platforms, and associated facilities.
• Middle East/GCC project experience is essential.
• Knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 requirements, safety instrumented functions, SIL verification, and Safety Requirement Specifications.

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
