AI Governance

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with attendance in the office or on client site at least 2 days per week, and up to 5 days per week depending on the assignment. Some UK roles may require security clearance, and applicants may need British citizenship or 5 years of continuous UK residency.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operationalise AI governance frameworks for clients.
• Help organisations navigate emerging AI regulations, standards, and guidance while enabling responsible innovation.
• Facilitate workshops, governance forums, risk assessments, and operating model design with senior stakeholders.
• Conduct AI governance, model governance, algorithmic impact, and responsible AI assessments.
• Collaborate with business, legal, compliance, risk, IT, security, data science, and engineering stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal AI governance initiatives and work according to agile best practices.

Requirements

• Established consulting experience delivering projects in AI governance, responsible AI, AI risk management, model governance, or emerging technology regulation.
• Proven experience with AI governance frameworks, policies, controls, operating models, and AI lifecycle governance.
• Experience interpreting and applying the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, OECD AI Principles, or similar guidance.
• Experience with Generative AI governance considerations, including data usage, intellectual property, security, privacy, bias, and model risk.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• UK security clearance may be required; some roles require British citizenship or at least 5 years of continuous UK residency.

Nice to have

• Experience with governance tooling, AI inventory solutions, model risk management platforms, or GRC technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, model risk management, or technology risk.
• Knowledge of machine learning and Large Language Models.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 42001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, IAPP AIGP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or cloud AI certifications.
• Experience supporting AI governance programmes in highly regulated sectors.

Hiring process

• Recruiter call to discuss the application, role, and organisation.
• Two 60-minute competency or technical interviews.
• Final 60-minute meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and client-centricity discussion.
