Invoice Finance Business Auditor

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom

Hilton-Baird Audit & Survey, a wholly owned subsidiary of hirify.global, provides outsourced risk management, audit, and survey services to UK and European finance providers and equity specialists.

What you will do

• Conduct new business surveys, follow-up audit visits, and other business reviews for invoice finance and asset-based lending clients.
• Produce timely, accurate reports with reasoned findings and recommendations.
• Identify adverse trends, industry risks, suspected fraud, and security issues, including potential mitigants.
• Manage an individual workload and targets while supporting colleagues on larger and more complex audits.
• Liaise with internal and external clients, build relationships, gather information, and record findings accurately.
• Escalate non-standard issues and contribute to process, strategy, knowledge-sharing, and compliance improvements.

Requirements

• Good audit and survey experience, with a sound understanding of business and finance.
• Knowledge of invoice finance, including factoring, invoice discounting, and asset-based lending, is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, investigation, attention-to-detail, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate effectively, and build trust with stakeholders.
• Strong technology literacy and the ability to work with and interrogate different accounting packages.
• Full clean driving licence required.
