Head of Financial Reporting

What you will do

• Establish the timetable, reporting framework, and responsibilities for accurate and complete Group financial reporting.
• Manage the end-to-end external review, reporting, and audit processes for consolidated historic financial information.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, notes, disclosures, and Audit Committee papers.
• Design, document, and implement a fit-for-purpose corporate reporting process for the business separation.
• Investigate complex reporting areas including cash flow, pensions, share-based accounting, EPS, financial risk management, and SOCIE.
• Develop the Group Accounting Manual, advise on technical accounting queries, and facilitate reporting training for global finance teams.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• More than 7 years of post-qualification experience in a FTSE 250 or similarly complex organisation.
• Experience with multicurrency corporate reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK public listed-company reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across a geographically dispersed, matrix organisation and deliver under tight deadlines.
