Head of Enterprise Monitoring and Observability (AIOps)

Location: Bethlehem, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $110,350–$181,285 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise observability vision, operating model, governance standards, and multi-year roadmap.
• Own the architecture, lifecycle, operation, modernization, and cost optimization of monitoring and observability platforms.
• Establish monitoring and instrumentation across infrastructure, cloud, middleware, applications, databases, and digital services.
• Lead operational analytics, event intelligence, anomaly detection, predictive insights, intelligent event correlation, and AIOps initiatives.
• Improve detection, response, recovery, root cause analysis, service reliability, and operational resilience.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of observability engineers, platform engineers, and operational intelligence specialists.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, platform engineering, observability, reliability engineering, or related technology disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale engineering or operational teams.
• Deep expertise in observability platforms, monitoring technologies, telemetry pipelines, logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and operational analytics.
• Experience implementing enterprise monitoring strategies and improving operational reliability at scale.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, automation, DevOps practices, and modern operational architectures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
