Senior Ground Enterprise Systems Engineer (DevSecOps)

Salary: $146,322.15–$254,425.83 per year

What you will do

• Provide senior SETA systems engineering, architecture, and integration support for enterprise software development platforms.
• Advise Government leadership on platform architecture, modernization, integration, security, and technical risk.
• Assess development environments, tools, technologies, and engineering approaches for secure and scalable solutions.
• Identify dependencies, integration challenges, architectural gaps, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop and evaluate system architectures, technical designs, engineering strategies, requirements, roadmaps, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate engineering activities across Government organizations, development teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, acquisition, and mission stakeholders while mentoring technical personnel.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required and must be maintainable.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of experience, master’s degree with 10–13 years, PhD with 10+ years, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Extensive experience architecting or integrating complex software development platforms, enterprise infrastructure, or software-intensive systems.
• Experience with multi-security-domain development environments, secure cross-domain architectures, security boundaries, interfaces, and data movement.
• Experience with FOSS and commercial/OEM software integration, patching, lifecycle management, and technical dependencies.
• Experience leading complex technical integration efforts and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Degree in systems engineering, computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related STEM discipline.
• Intelligence Community or DoD platform engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud, hybrid-cloud, air-gapped, or multi-enclave development environments.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, OpenShift, or comparable platform technologies.
• Experience with platform modernization, consolidation, software supply-chain security, Zero Trust, or secure cross-domain capabilities.
