HSE Officer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Support the HSE Manager and Senior HSE Officer in daily project operations.
• Implement the company’s HSE requirements and integrated management system across the project.
• Monitor company and subcontractor activities for compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Deliver inductions and toolbox talks, communicate hazards, and ensure appropriate controls and contingency arrangements.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and respond to unsafe conditions and non-compliance.
• Participate in meetings, emergency exercises, inspections, audits, and corrective-action close-out.

Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate minimum.
• 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Mandatory experience in either onshore or offshore operations.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and strong reporting skills.
• ADNOC approval is highly preferable.
• Good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in GCC countries on oil and gas projects with an EPC contractor or heavy industrial construction company.
