Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer (10+ Years)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, USA — office-based full-time position

What you will do

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems and prepare construction documents.
• Provide construction support for engineering projects.
• Scope new projects and contribute to proposal writing.
• Work on projects in healthcare, industrial, housing, local government, military, and federal sectors.
• Mentor other engineers and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients while supporting project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration required.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering.
• At least 7 years of HVAC and plumbing engineering experience; up to 3 years may be non-engineering HVAC and plumbing work.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, and other engineering analysis software.
• Strong time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
