Associate Director/Director of Corporate Finance - Special Situations (M&A)

What you will do

• Lead and manage special situations M&A transactions from inception to completion on both buy-side and sell-side engagements.
• Perform financial analysis, due diligence, valuation, and financial modelling.
• Develop strategic recommendations, negotiate terms, and structure transactions to maximise client value.
• Analyse distressed companies and develop solutions for clients facing financial difficulties.
• Coordinate with legal and financial advisers during insolvency proceedings.
• Build client relationships, develop new business, and lead and mentor finance professionals.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive corporate finance experience focused on special situations M&A.
• Proven experience managing complex transactions and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Significant experience in a professional services firm.
• Experience building client relationships and mentoring teams.
