Finance Manager (Financial Governance/European Entities): Overseeing financial governance, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and performance across multiple European legal entities with an accent on IFRS, local GAAP, budgeting, and cross-border stakeholder management. Focus on coordinating audits, improving finance processes, and leading transformation initiatives across a complex international matrix organization.
Location: Based in Annecy, France; regular travel across Europe approximately once per month.

What you will do
- Own the financial management, governance, and compliance of several European legal entities.
- Review and approve monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
- Coordinate statutory financial statements under IFRS, local GAAP, and Group reporting standards.
- Analyze performance against plans, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, statutory reporting, and internal and external audits, including SOX requirements.
- Lead local finance resources, cross-border initiatives, process harmonization, and finance transformation projects.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- English proficiency at C1 level or above.
- 5–10 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Audit, including responsibility for multiple legal entities.
- Proven people management experience in an international, multi-country, matrix organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS, local GAAP, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and legal entity governance.
- Advanced SAP and ERP knowledge, with strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
