Senior Analyst / Associate Coverage Corporate Banking (CIB)

Location: Paris, France; full-time work in the Paris office

What you will do

• Support senior bankers in global coverage responsibilities for a portfolio of approximately 80 large corporate clients.
• Monitor client revenues and build business plans, profitability projections, and exposure analyses.
• Prepare and coordinate internal capital allocation and risk committee approvals.
• Work with product specialists and relationship partners across Iberia, Latin America, the UK, the US, and other covered geographies.
• Maintain compliance and KYC documentation and support client interactions.
• Contribute to solutions spanning M&A, ECM, DCM, syndicated loans, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, hedging, trade finance, export finance, and cash management.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance from a business school.
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate coverage or a relevant product team within CIB, including internships or apprenticeships.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of corporate banking products, credit risk assessment, internal ratings, and risk committees.
• Ability to meet deadlines, synthesize complex information, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and product teams.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a proactive, autonomous, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience building and reviewing financial models and performing scenario or sensitivity analyses.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills.
