Field Service Engineer (Recycling Equipment)

Location: Bonville Rd, Brislington, Bristol, UK; field-based travel across the South West

Salary: GBP 35,000–40,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete preventative and reactive repairs.
• Support the UK-wide installation and rollout of new recycling equipment.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts.
• Travel throughout the South West, including occasional overnight stays, and record service activity in digital systems.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures while contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Curious, solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to travel, manage a schedule, work approved overtime and weekends, and later join a rota-based shift pattern.
• Full UK driving licence required.
