BSN Instructor - Per Diem - Pediatrics

Location: Fremont, California, USA; campus-based role with on-site collaboration required

What you will do

• Facilitate student-centered nursing instruction focused on competent, compassionate, and ethical practice.
• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and final course evaluations with other instructors.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students, providing immediate feedback on clinical performance.
• Maintain attendance, grades, student records, reports, and program data.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, advising, faculty orientation, and instructional quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or a higher degree from an accredited college or university, including nursing or education coursework.
• At least four years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse.
• At least one year of clinical experience within the last five years, with clinical teaching counting toward direct patient care.
• Clinical competence as defined in CCR Section 1420(c) and expertise in pediatrics or another listed nursing specialty.
• Ability to collaborate on campus and provide in-person access to students.
