TL;DR

What you will do

  • Complete assigned quality control inspections in accordance with company manuals, policies, procedures, and applicable FAA regulations.
  • Inspect received components, materials, tooling, hardware, aircraft systems, and maintenance work performed by AMTs, sheet metal AMTs, and avionics technicians.
  • Conduct Required Inspection Item inspections and verify that deficiencies are properly reworked.
  • Review maintenance forms, parts tags, job cards, log pages, and tally sheets for regulatory and procedural compliance.
  • Oversee aircraft handling activities, including jacking, fueling, defueling, and towing, to prevent safety incidents and property damage.
  • Perform aircraft weight and balance analysis using approved manuals and scales.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and age 18 or older.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  • At least six years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, FAA regulations, IPM, and ATA codes.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of federal identification.
  • Clear English reading, speaking, and comprehension skills are required.

Nice to have

  • At least two years of Quality Control Inspector experience in MRO or aerospace industries.
  • Experience with corporate jets or at least ten years of corporate aircraft experience.
  • Inspection Authorization certification, Corridor experience, and business corporate jet experience.
  • Scissor lift or forklift certification.
