Box Elder Plant Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Box Elder Plant, United States. Onsite manufacturing work on rotating 12-hour shifts; technicians must be available for any shift, including weekends and overtime as needed. Local talent is preferred and relocation is generally not paid.

Starting pay: $26.53 per hour.

What you will do

• Operate high-speed converting, packing, and other automated production equipment.
• Control production processes from computer terminals and help maintain production flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and data.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as clamp trucks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
• Support production performance, product quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Be willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts on any day of the week, including weekends.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes.
• Use basic hand and power tools and perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, standing, bending, and moving on platforms and stairs.
• Be able to enter confined spaces and stand on concrete floors for extended periods.

• Experience operating, maintaining, and cleaning automated manufacturing equipment.
