Location: Frankfurt, Germany; hybrid working model with some days onsite

What you will do

• Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance team in managing the regulatory risk framework.
• Provide advice and recommendations on complex regulatory risk escalations involving clients, products, and transactions.
• Ensure policies and guidance align with global documents and current legal and regulatory requirements.
• Guide and train first-line teams on implementing policies and standards, and deliver compliance awareness programmes.
• Recommend and implement actions to mitigate regulatory risks and support regulatory risk assessments.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert to change management, policy development, management information, and senior management reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in regulatory or business-line compliance within financial services or a comparable large corporate organization.
• In-depth knowledge of Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), MiFID II, and WpHG, with the ability to apply them in daily work.
• Knowledge of regulatory risks and their management in wholesale, corporate, and investment banking.
• Experience using systems and software to analyze data.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• English and German required.

• Experience developing policies and implementing or overseeing control frameworks.
• Degree in a relevant subject.
• External qualification in compliance.
• Knowledge of wholesale, corporate, and investment banking products.
