Customs Specialist (Second Shift)

Location: Onsite in the Laredo, Texas area, United States; second shift from 4pm to midnight CST.

What you will do

• Navigate customs regulations and ensure goods comply with international laws.
• Manage documents and data required for customs clearance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
• Collaborate with international clients, shippers, logistics partners, and government agencies.
• Use hirify.global technology to optimize customs processes and provide data to clients.
• Participate in client business reviews and operational calls.
• Follow and improve standard operating procedures for customs operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Compliance-first mindset and commitment to regulatory adherence and integrity.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technology.
• Ability to work onsite in the Laredo, Texas area during the second shift.
