SAP Technical Architect (SAP BTP)

Location: South Jordan, Utah, USA; in-office at least 4–5 days per week. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP solutions.
• Drive Clean Core principles, upgrade-safe extensibility, technical standards, and architecture governance.
• Lead SAP BTP services, integrations, workflows, automation, extension applications, and AI-enabled solutions using Joule and Joule Studio.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across ABAP, CDS Views, RAP, CAP, Fiori/UI5, SQL, HANA, APIs, OData, and BTP extensions.
• Lead integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP platforms, including logistics, manufacturing, eCommerce, CRM, and third-party applications.
• Review designs and code, mentor development teams and partners, and drive security, performance, testing, documentation, monitoring, and operational stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP technical development and architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP, ABAP/OOABAP, Fiori/UI5, SQL, SAP HANA, APIs, OData, and integrations.
• Experience with SAP Clean Core, S/4HANA Cloud extensibility, and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of SAP Joule, Joule Studio, SAP Business Data Cloud, and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong communication, collaboration, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA certifications.
• Experience with RAP, CAP, event-driven architecture, Integration Suite, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, retail, or consumer products.
