SAP HANA Solutions Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize HANA-native data models and analytical objects.
• Support analytics for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms.
• Translate complex business and analytics requirements into performant HANA models.
• Diagnose and resolve HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.
• Work with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, SQLScript, and HANA performance-tuning tools.
• Support HANA replication, security, migrations, and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP HANA development experience; the position lists 6+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, SQLScript, and SQL.
• Understanding of HANA architecture, including in-memory storage, columnar processing, and parallel execution.
• Experience with HANA performance tuning tools and replication tools such as SLT, SDI, and SDA.
• Working knowledge of HANA security models, analytic privileges, roles, and S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.

Nice to have

• SAP-certified HANA modeling or development credentials.
• Experience with HANA Native Storage Extension, dynamic tiering, large-scale migrations, or upgrades.
• Exposure to HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, BTP analytics tooling, or SAC.
