Wellness Nurse (LPN)

Location: 55-15 Little Neck Pkwy, Little Neck, NY 11362, USA; onsite overnight shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Salary: USD 39.00–41.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care and promote the health, safety, and holistic well-being of residents.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
• Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise care staff and certified nursing assistants in line with state regulations and community policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance according to federal, state, and local standards.
• Demonstrate the company mission while delivering a high level of service to residents.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current LPN license.
• Experience with residents who have Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, methods, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn new applications.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting residents weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting.
