IT Quality Assurance Apprentice

Location: Crewe, England, United Kingdom; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Assist with creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual tests.
• Support testing of new functionality developed by the IT team.
• Review requirements with Product and pre-development teams.
• Identify, log, and track defects using agreed tools and processes.
• Work with development managers and DevOps to support reliable releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Interest in IT, technology, or software.
• GCSEs or equivalent, or working toward them, including Maths, English, and Computer Science.
• Organised, detail-focused, motivated to learn, and able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an IT team.
• No previous IT or testing experience is required; training and support are provided.
