is a manufacturing company whose DIS-TRAN Steel division produces fabricated steel components and supports Kinetic and Laser cutting operations.
What you will do
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment.
- Transport, stage, load, and unload steel materials throughout the manufacturing process.
- Deliver raw materials to Kinetic and Laser cutting operations and remove finished components.
- Prepare, inspect, clean, sort, and stage finished parts for downstream fabrication.
- Position steel plates, remove scrap and excess material, and use basic hand tools as needed.
- Verify part accuracy against work orders, drawings, and specifications while maintaining production and inventory records.
Requirements
- Ability to safely perform medium-heavy physical labor in indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Report and regular, reliable attendance.
- High school diploma or GED, basic fabrication-drawing skills, and prior forklift, warehouse, or manufacturing experience are preferred.
