R&D Mechanical Engineer

Salary: USD 90,000–115,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design and develop new mechanical hand tools while meeting quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Create concepts, feasibility studies, physical prototypes, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and product documentation.
• Plan and execute feasibility, verification, and validation testing; evaluate results and improve test equipment and global procedures.
• Perform FEA, tolerance analysis, stress analysis, and other engineering analyses for new and existing designs.
• Support the analysis and resolution of customer quality issues and define technical requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and customers to industrialize products and track requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an R&D Mechanical Engineer.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant work experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and technical drafting; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Hands-on product development experience, including basic shop equipment, machine tools, and 3D printers.
• Proven engineering and analytical expertise, including Design for Six Sigma and Finite Element Analysis.
• Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
