Assistant Manager - Restructuring Advisory (Insolvency)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including trading and pre-pack administrations, CVLs, CVAs, and MVLs.
• Lead case planning, strategy, execution, statutory reporting, and compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with directors, creditors, legal advisers, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee redundancies, asset realisation strategies, fee drawdowns, payment requests, and journals via TPS.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, statements of affairs, estimated outcome statements, VAT filings, and Corporation Tax filings.
• Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, contribute to training and process improvements, and support business development.

Requirements

• CPI or another relevant insolvency professional qualification.
• Proven experience managing insolvency cases from cradle to grave, including complex cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
• Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, delegate work, and deliver under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insolvency case management systems such as IPS.

Nice to have

• Relevant experience in corporate restructuring.
• ACA, ACCA, or JIEB qualification.
