Vice President / Senior Vice President, Structured Trade, Global Transaction Banking, Asia Pacific (Structured Trade)

What you will do

• Support the Structured Trade team head in providing structured solutions for blue-chip clients’ working capital needs.
• Lead commercial activities, including client analysis, pipeline development, marketing materials, pitching, structuring, and execution.
• Manage the full deal lifecycle from pitch books and credit applications through profitability measurement, documentation, and execution.
• Monitor utilisation of existing facilities and help maintain client activities with the bank.
• Coordinate with corporate sales, coverage, banking, corporate finance, middle-office, back-office, and global structured trade teams across regions.
• Contribute to product framework development, infrastructure support, and Global Transaction Banking initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 8 years of experience with an international bank, including at least 4 years in Structured Trade or Structured Commodity Finance, and/or experience at a major banking and finance law firm.
• Working knowledge of banking and finance law, regulatory and compliance concepts, and their impact on financing transactions.
• Ability to apply legal knowledge creatively to resolve challenges and remove bottlenecks in financing documentation.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong analytical, presentation, and attention-to-detail abilities.

• Experience coordinating transactions across multiple geographies.
