Assistant Store Manager - Community

Salary: $22–$28 per hour, plus team pooled commission

What you will do

• Plan and execute community programs, team sweats, in-store events, and partnerships with local fitness, wellness, and lifestyle communities.
• Partner with the General Manager and HQ Community Manager to align community initiatives with brand standards and business goals.
• Build relationships with local community partners and ensure every customer and community touchpoint reflects hirify.global’s values.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, employee engagement, coaching, and team development.
• Lead sales-floor execution and customer experience while empowering employees to resolve customer issues.
• Support inventory operations, product shipments, visual merchandising, scheduling, labor management, and store expenses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience, including the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Retail sales leadership experience with a record of achieving sales targets through planning, execution, and team motivation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, prioritization, time management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales techniques.
• Availability for morning and/or evening 8-hour shifts, five days per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds and safely perform standing, bending, kneeling, ladder climbing, and extended movement around the store.
