Construction Section Head - Civil

What you will do

• Lead and manage civil construction activities in accordance with project specifications, approved plans, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, Commissioning, and other project disciplines.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources while monitoring productivity and construction progress.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, work procedures, and execution plans.
• Manage subcontractors and implement corrective actions to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and schedule targets.
• Ensure effective Permit-to-Work implementation and complete civil works before project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC construction projects, including at least 5 years in a senior supervisory or Construction Section Head role.
• Experience with ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong experience managing civil construction activities, large site teams, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of ADNOC standards, international codes, HSE regulations, risk assessments, construction sequencing, and Permit-to-Work systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work under pressure in fast-track projects.

Nice to have

• ADNOC approval or prior ADNOC leadership experience.
