Blow Moulding Machine Technician

Location: Sydney, Australia; onsite night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

What you will do

• Optimise extrusion blow moulding processes to meet production specifications and improve OEE.
• Operate and monitor blow moulding machines, material handling systems, and automated packaging lines.
• Perform minor machine setup adjustments and maintain optimal equipment settings.
• Follow safety and quality procedures, including Take5 and LOTO, and report incidents or near misses.
• Support maintenance and mould-change teams to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
• Troubleshoot production-line issues and contribute to safety, quality, productivity, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in blow moulding machine maintenance or experience operating similar industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; a trade qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a comparable high-quality production environment.
• Ability to analyse equipment issues and implement effective, cost-efficient solutions.
• Proactive approach to safety and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
