Software Engineer (Next.js/Laravel)

Location: hirify.global Campus, Crewe, England, United Kingdom; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web applications with Next.js, React, and Laravel.
• Build dynamic web platforms and scalable RESTful backend APIs.
• Implement responsive user interfaces in collaboration with designers and backend developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using TDD principles.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the frontend and backend stack.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional web development experience.
• Proficiency with Next.js and React.
• Experience with Laravel and PHP backend development.
• Practical understanding of Test-Driven Development.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
