Full Stack Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js/React)

Location: Remote in any EMEA country where ClickHouse has a hiring presence; listed location: the Netherlands

Salary: US Premium locations: $215,000–$260,000 annually; other US locations: $195,000–$245,000 annually. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.
• Build and maintain the Cloud Console for managing database services, user access, SQL queries, dashboards, and system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship application features.
• Ensure application and infrastructure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of scalable application design principles.
• Proficiency with Git or similar code versioning tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse, CI/CD pipelines, analytics applications, or data-intensive products.
• Experience with Auth0 or similar integrations.
• Monorepo experience with Yarn Workspaces, TurboRepo, or Nx.
• Experience building developer tools, IDEs, BI platforms, or WebSocket and real-time features.
