What you will do

• Lead guided sea kayak tours through the waterways of Freycinet National Park.
• Create safe, engaging, and informative experiences for guests.
• Share knowledge of Tasmania’s natural and cultural history.
• Apply risk management and safe operating practices during tours.
• Work collaboratively in a busy outdoor adventure tourism team.
• Commit to the full summer season, including the Christmas and New Year period.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading guided kayak tours in outdoor or adventure tourism environments.
• Strong risk management, problem-solving, and practical mathematical skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Card, or the ability to obtain one before starting.
• Enclosed Sea Kayak Guide certification or an equivalent kayaking guide qualification.
