Business Controller (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Manage Philippines entity- and project-related finance matters, including structures, financial reporting, audits, cashflow planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Coordinate finance-related matters between the Philippines office, headquarters, regional finance teams, and local service providers.
• Prepare or review full sets of accounts, bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and quarterly and annual statutory and management accounts.
• Oversee supplier payments, intercompany loans, employee reimbursements, and related authorization documentation.
• Review corporate tax returns, VAT filings, and other tax documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Track project performance and cashflow while supporting process streamlining, data standardization, system implementation, and reporting automation.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a project analyst or project controller.
• Finance, business, or accounting degree with a minimum of five years of experience.
• Strong accounting, project controlling, financial forecasting, and statistical analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reporting tools; Power Query and Power BI are highly desirable.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and process improvement skills.
• High integrity, a hands-on approach, flexibility, and the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.

Nice to have

• Financial modelling and data analytics experience.
• Experience with Power Query and Power BI.
