TEAP Specialist (Substance Abuse)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, USA; onsite at a Job Corps center

What you will do

• Conduct TEAP substance-use assessments and develop individualized intervention and support plans.
• Provide counseling, relapse-prevention support, and prevention education to students.
• Facilitate group sessions, workshops, and educational programs for students and employees.
• Coordinate integrated support with center departments, mental health, medical, health services, recreation, and community agencies.
• Maintain program procedures, documentation, data, and quarterly Department of Labor reports.
• Perform quality-assurance audits and ensure proper specimen collection, documentation, and chain-of-custody handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, public health, or a related behavioral-science field.
• Knowledge of substance-abuse prevention, early intervention, and case management.
• Ability to facilitate groups and educational sessions and provide individual and group guidance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and crisis-management skills.
• Understanding of confidentiality regulations and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Current Health Certificate and fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
