Manufacturing Manager

Location: Wyndham, Victoria, Australia; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and deliver production targets aligned with customer demand.
• Manage performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery and waste metrics.
• Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support site expansion, capital projects and long-term manufacturing strategy.
• Partner with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Lead, coach and develop teams while building an accountable, high-performing culture.

Requirements

• Extensive manufacturing experience, ideally in FMCG or a similar environment.
• 10+ years in leadership roles, including leading high-performing teams and driving change.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with capital projects or major transformation programs.
• Understanding of safety, quality and regulatory frameworks, including WHSE requirements.
• Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree, or another relevant tertiary qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or similar systems.
• Exposure to unionised environments.
• Experience with HACCP, FSSC22000 and ISO-aligned quality systems.
