What you will do

• Lead UX design for desktop and mobile software across multiple operating systems.
• Participate in user research and A/B testing and use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve designs.
• Define features, functions, and products based on user motivations, goals, and needs.
• Extend the UX design language and create consistent experiences through sketches, flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers, hardware engineering, marketing, and other designers to deliver products.
• Improve UX processes, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and mentor designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, interaction design, graphic design, industrial design, information science, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications using user-centered techniques.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring product designers, including guiding teams through successful product releases.
• Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, systems-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience applying quantitative data and qualitative user insights to prototypes and design decisions.
• Strong understanding of visual design and current UI/UX trends, including iOS and Material Design guidelines.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree.
• Experience designing interactions between hardware and software, community features, or data-driven experiences.
• Crafting or DIY experience.
