Lead UX Designer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and evolve UX vision across mobile, web, kiosk, and point-of-sale experiences for the Genius commerce and software platform.
• Lead user-centered design from discovery through delivery in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Delivery.
• Develop personas, journey maps, experience frameworks, interaction models, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
• Conduct and oversee customer interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and prototype validation, including collaboration with external research vendors.
• Champion accessibility, usability, UX best practices, and UX modernization across the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or a related field.
• Experience designing customer-facing digital experiences across mobile and web platforms.
• Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Experience developing user journeys, personas, design strategies, design systems, and component libraries.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.

Nice to have

• Experience in restaurant technology, hospitality technology, digital ordering, commerce platforms, or customer engagement solutions.
• Experience designing omnichannel experiences across mobile, web, kiosk, and point-of-sale environments.
• Experience leading UX modernization initiatives or working with external user research providers.
• Experience mentoring designers or supporting the growth of a UX practice.
