Program Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite office and clean manufacturing environment

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead new and existing product introductions and coordinate cross-functional program teams.
• Validate tooling and automation design approaches and support equipment and product modifications.
• Create project work plans, assign responsibilities, track deliverables, and communicate status to management.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers and customers and provide technical support to Sales.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, utilization, and cost estimates.
• Partner with Quality on engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures while supporting lean manufacturing program launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Understanding of injection molding, tooling, materials, and processing.
• Clear, well-organized oral and written communication skills and the ability to motivate others toward a common goal.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States under applicable federal requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
