Assistant Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports and support the integrity of statutory reporting.
• Apply local accounting knowledge and advise stakeholders on the accounting implications of significant capital investments.
• Contribute to fixed asset impairment processes with the Business Process Outsourcing team.
• Monitor and remediate control deficiencies to maintain effective accounting systems and policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including auditor liaison and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory reporting requirements, and support local payments and asset verification.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional accounting body such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, OROC, OCC, or equivalent, or an MBA.
• Successful experience in a technical finance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience reviewing statutory financial reports and other local reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of local GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to apply accounting judgment in a complex business.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization and proficiency with Excel and financial systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with D365 or OneStream.
