Assistant Controller - Management Company (Finance)

Location: London, Montreal, Jersey, or Warsaw

What you will do

• Develop standard reporting and analytics for quarter-end reporting packages.
• Review monthly accounting activities, including month-end close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, allocation schedules, and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with external tax and audit professionals on annual tax returns and audits under US GAAP and local reporting standards.
• Calculate monthly revenue allocations and reductions in line with current fund agreements, including quarterly true-ups.
• Facilitate settlement of outstanding balances between funds and the accounts receivable department.
• Handle ad hoc requests from senior management and other departments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting or a combination of Big Four and private accounting experience.
• Knowledge of foreign currency transactions.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, self-management, attention-to-detail, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Workday Financials knowledge or experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
