Reduction Specialist

Location: Onsite at the Miami Lakes, Florida office five days a week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST. Employment requires verification of identity and authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation: USD 18–25 per hour.

What you will do

• Guide clients through the reductions and settlement process and provide regular status updates.
• Review settlement files, medical balances, liens, PIP benefits, insurance information, and provider records.
• Negotiate reductions with hospitals, medical providers, lienholders, and other entities to maximize client recoveries.
• Prepare reduction requests, closing statements, settlement documentation, and distribution calculations.
• Maintain accurate case records, documents, releases, and activity notes in Litify or other case management systems.
• Perform final file reviews, self-audits, reporting, and coordination with internal departments to support timely case resolution.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
• Experience with medical bill reductions, lien resolution, settlement processing, hospital and provider negotiations, and closing statements.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, provider balances, PIP, health insurance liens, Letters of Protection, and personal injury settlements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and meeting productivity goals.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required. Experience with Litify, Salesforce, or similar case management systems and Microsoft Office.
