Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS): Building and operating a scalable, secure cloud environment for a construction-site digitization platform with an accent on AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps. Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary; remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.

What you will do
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native application infrastructure.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, automation, and a strong GitOps approach.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, and automated health-check solutions with OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
- Implement security practices covering access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Investigate production incidents, perform end-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and support application stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, ideally with enterprise-grade web applications.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes or CaaS architecture, microservices, REST interfaces, containers, IAM, and messaging.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD workflows, automation, and GitOps.
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Grafana, automated system health checks, and cloud-native troubleshooting.
- Fluent English required; German is a nice to have.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of platform security policies and PostgreSQL database administration.
- Experience with GeoServer and AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- German language skills.
